NICE! You and Scobes hit my Golden Age of Football cards with your posts today George Andrie is the only NFLer I know of that played college football at Marquette. I'm sure there have been others but Marquette was always a basketball school in my memory starting wiith the Al McGuire era.George Andrie '67 Philadelphia

Wow! There were a ton of players from Marquette mostly from the 20sthrough the 40s. THe one player besdies Andrie I recognized was Karl Kassulke who was a starting safety for those great Vikings defenses of the late 60/early 70s. His career was tragically cut short in a motorcycle accident that left him paralyzed. I'll bet Marquettee disbanded their football program shortly after Andrie and Kassulke joined the NFL in 1962 and 1963 since I don't see any from that school after those two guys.Marquette Players/Alumni | Pro-Football-Reference.com

the old Cowboy logo at the bottom right of the card is just awesome! I don't know if that was ever an official Cowboy logo or a Topps creation. Either way it rocks!
In answering my own question it appears that is considerd an alternative Cowboys logo used in 1968 and 1969.
