I absolutely love those 1990s Food Issue HOF autos and pick them up whenever I can. They are quite inexpensive which is a big plus. I don't have that particular one but have a bunch of other Nabscos and other similar issues.
What a great card! Was this a redemption? I can't imagine these put in a package of Oreo's...
I always break out in "You're a mean one.....Mr. Lynch!" when I look at dish......

I'm pretty sure you had to buy them from an offer on the packages. I read an article on them recently and the price on them was quite inexpensive. I wish I was aware of them back then as I would have bought a ton of them. Jimmy Dean's was another company that came out with a similar HOF autograph offer. These food issue HOF autos are a great buy these days.
Ironically, I just received the Brooks Robinson auto from this very same set last week from a transaction here on The Bench.
Wasn't it something ridiculous like we 5 dollars and 2 proof of purchases? I remember getting the 94 Tombstone baseball set that way also
From an article I read that was pretty much the price of them. If I had been aware of those, I'd be sitting on a pile of them these days. Right now, I just pick them up whenever I can. Man, they are inexpensive. I always say "Buy the autograph, not the card it is on".

This guy was one of the elite in the 90's... unfortunately for him he played for the 90's Raiders. When collecting I never looked at him as one of the guys that I had to have a card of. Luckily, though, he was paired on many cards with Michael Irvin so I do have some of his cards... sort of. Think I'll post a few in the coming days....
Great card, btw, if Edge did one thing right it was getting on-card autos!!
