I had thought he had passed away years ago so I was surprised to hear of his passing a couple of years back. He really was a dominant pitcher whose career was cut short by a tragic medical condition.
Absolutely. I feel that the Astros failed as well as a few in the organization didn't believe him when he was complaining about not feeling well. I get it though, as they were thinking arm troubles but when everything checked out, it was like oh well nothing is wrong. And who would have thought that you professional athlete, in his prime would have a chance of having a stroke. Sad situation all around.
 
Do postcards count? I bought a small collection locally a couple of weeks ago. There were quite a few card related magazines included. Beckett, Sports Legends, Programs, National Sports Collector's Conventions etc... Inside one of the NSCC magazines was this...

As well as another Banks Autograph. Not very often do you find a signed and dated piece with the matching program from the event that shows the date as well. Unexpectedly that is!
