I live in the Syracuse market and it s very odd that Syracuse University acts like Csonka never played there. Obviously Ernie Davis as the first black Heisman Trophy winner is closely associated with the school as was Floyd Little and Jim Brown as well after they made amends after a decades long falling out. But with Csonka, if I didn't know better I'd think he never played there!
Very strange too as he was practically a household name back in the '70s. Add to the fact that the name Csonka and Butkus were synonymous with hard core toughness and it really is a mystery as to why I never hear his name associated with SU.
He just retired so I'll post one of my 2002 Joey Votto RCs,his 2002 Topps 206 Polar Bear Mini.
