Modern baseball, You?? Is everything OK in Arkansas? LOL Your dad's scrapbook cards are 30ish years older than this card so I'm assuming the Manny is not one of those.

Funny how a 32 year old card is considerd modern while in 1992 a 32 year old card would correctly be considered vintage.
lol ya everything's good... I traded for this a few months ago when I couldn't find anything else I wanted from them. Still working on cleaning up my Dad's cards. It's amazing how bad he was able to get some of those cards!

Jeff - you're a funny dude - your posts always make me smile, first thing in the LA morning...

Just picked this one up - for another set I'm working on - 1958 Topps football. I have about 2/3 of it. The Jim Brown will cost me a pretty penny.

Love the Giants uniform on a Cardinals card! A Chciago Cardinal card, no less!

He and his son were both head coaches of the 49ers............Dick in the late 60s/mid 70s and his son in about 2005-08. Not sure if a father/son combo ever head coached the same NFL team besides these two. Bum and Wade Phillips maybe?

Not that anyone cares but he played 1 year with the Cowboys in 1962 and then was the D-coordinator for them from 1963 until the Ice Bowl before he went to the Niners. He and Tom Landry were teammates with the Giants in the 50s and Landry used him on a couple of occasions as an aassistant coach.

I got an in-person auto on his '59 card when he was the head coach of the Niners. I'm guessing I was 12 or 13 at the time.
