With Pat Zachry (Seaver trade), Mike Scott, and Randy Jones! Thankfully I was overseas in Italy during the real bad years.........Couldn't really follow stuff like you can today.......You could buy baseball cards at the BX........

I don't remember Mike Scott on the Mets. He was a real Mets killer on the Astros. Almost single-handedly kept the Mets from winning the 1986 pennant.

Ahh, but win they did.......Couple of nights ago, my wife and I watched the Sienfeld episode with Hernandez.........Forgot McDowell was in it; those years would have been bad as well, early to mid '90s........

All those guys strung out on coke, Straw, Doc, Keith, HoJo - they ruined their careers and they could have been a 10-year dynasty. Sad.

Yeah, only Carter was the on the straight and narrow.........I think Knight was just into imbibing......Very sad indeed! It was the '80's though.....
