Speaking of Landry era Cowboys, for a few minutes this weekend I thought HOF DT Randy White had passed away. There was a headline about Country music singer Lorrie Morgan's husband passing away this weekend and his name was Randy White. I looked up the Cowboy Randy White and he was the same age has Morgan's husband and I was like "Oh-Oh". But he was not the Randy White who was married to Lorrie Morgan.

I thought her name was familiar when it came to Dallas Cowboys and sure enough Troy Aikman was in a relationship with her iin 1993.

How's that for some obscure Cowboy's knowledge for 'ya?

You scared the livin begeses outta me! Randy White will not die... he's not built like that!
I never noticed this before but he is listed as a linebacker on his rookie card. His #54 makes sense since that is a linebacker's number.

His wikipedia page is an interesting read with all the position changes in college and pros. He was the #2 pick in the draft and was the heir apparent to Lee Roy Jordan's middle linebacker position. He backed up Jordan in his rookie year and then the Cowboys decided on Bob Bruneg instead and moved White to DT and the rest is history.

I vaguely remember him as a linebacker back then but never realized his RC had him listed at that position. But then again I never noticed Cal Ripken Jr.'s rcs listed him as a 3rd baseman. Lots of stuff seems to fly right by me. LMAO!!!

For some reason I see things like that all the time. Call me part of the Grammer Police but when I read the blurbs on backs of cards it annoys the living carp outta me when their sentences don't make sense.

Great card from Doc! I like to think this is the moment Elway decides to go for a TD in the Super Bowl and gets spun around like a top!
