Actually a Midwest beer. When the family moved to MN in 1980 we were confused because we kept hearing abou the worlds largest 6 pack was in the area. There was a small brewery in LaCrosse, WI and that was where Old Style was brewed. The brewery closed in the late 90s or early 2000's but recently just re opened.I don't think I've had one of those... must be a Chicago beer. I quit drinking in 2018, but I prided myself on trying ANY beer at least once! The Oatmeal Stouts were the worst... my favorites were IPA's. Have you heard of Chimay? It's a Trappist Ale made in Belgium (I think). There's a White Label, Red Label, and Blue Label. The Blue is out of this world!! It's a bit pricey, but you don't need a 6 pack of these... if you ever run across a Chimay Blue I highly recommend it!

Al Kaline in Detroit. Ernie Banks in Chicago.I remember reading something around the time he signed his last contract or was about to retire and it said the players union was mad at Tony because he never really wanted to leave San Diego, even though he could have made stupid money somewhere else but it never crossed Tony's mind. And think about it. Local guy, goes SDSU, as a 2 sport guy. Drafted by hometown team and literally became synonymous with the Franchise. You can't think of anyone more than a Padre than Tony. Not Winfield, not Ozzie, not Randy Jones, not Tatis, Machado...it's Tony freaking Gwynn. The only other player that I can think of in baseball to rival that is Cal Ripken Jr in Baltimore but the Os have a little more heritage i guess you would say, so Ripken may not be the first to come to mind.
Yes, drank some of the Chimay in Europe.........Kind of too thick for my tastes......I don't think I've had one of those... must be a Chicago beer. Him hating on you was BS especially since you did not shoot the deputy."Sherriff John Brown always hated me... for what? I don't know."

I remember there was at least one player in the 1993 Classic Draft set from that school and the nickname certainly caught my eye, as well.Interesting!! I didn't know a thing about this John Brown... I didn't even put the name to the song for a long time. I got it because he went to a college in Kansas called Pittsburg State. And their mascot was a Gorilla!! I thought that was such a cool mascot!
Lmao... some of those clips could have come out of McGehee actually!! I stay on my side of the town after 8pm or so... unless I'm with my buddy Dante. He's about 6' 7" with a 'don't F with me' face on constantly!I remember there was at least one player in the 1993 Classic Draft set from that school and the nickname certainly caught my eye, as well.
Sherrif John Brown shows up in the first 10-15 seconds of the theme from Cops. I won't be surprised if they do an episode from McGehee, Arkansas now! I mean from "The Mean Streets of McGehee, Arkansas". LMAO!!
Seems he didn't get his chance in Dallas with Lewis and Breunig starting. Did pretty good as a Niner, though.
