Actually a Midwest beer. When the family moved to MN in 1980 we were confused because we kept hearing abou the worlds largest 6 pack was in the area. There was a small brewery in LaCrosse, WI and that was where Old Style was brewed. The brewery closed in the late 90s or early 2000's but recently just re opened.Untitled.jpg

Yes, drank some of the Chimay in Europe.........Kind of too thick for my tastes......

Europe is great... had a Birra Moretti at 6:30 AM and no one thought anything of it. That was Italy... all I drank in Greece was red wine. Don't think I had water for a week!
Chimay is definitely filling... I think it's around 9% alcohol so you don't need much for a nice buzz. ...I miss beer so much!! Won't get into it but I've done some EXTREMELY dumb **** while drunk. Figured I wanted to live instead so I gave it up. Thats my sob story... kids, alcohol is great! But in moderation.... ;)

Sherriff John Brown also was name checked in the theme for the TV show "Cops". A no nonsense law enforcement officer, an inspiration for song lyrics and a pretty good NFL wide receiver..............Diversity was his strength!
 
Interesting!! I didn't know a thing about this John Brown... I didn't even put the name to the song for a long time. I got it because he went to a college in Kansas called Pittsburg State. And their mascot was a Gorilla!! I thought that was such a cool mascot!

I remember there was at least one player in the 1993 Classic Draft set from that school and the nickname certainly caught my eye, as well.

Sherrif John Brown shows up in the first 10-15 seconds of the theme from Cops. I won't be surprised if they do an episode from McGehee, Arkansas now! I mean from "The Mean Streets of McGehee, Arkansas". LMAO!!

Lmao... some of those clips could have come out of McGehee actually!! I stay on my side of the town after 8pm or so... unless I'm with my buddy Dante. He's about 6' 7" with a 'don't F with me' face on constantly!
