That is a most impressive grade on an oversized card like that. Due to their larger size, 1964 Giants along with 1965 Topps Football and early 70s Tall Boy basketball are really hard to find in primo shape! I have no idea of the actual BV on this card but $45 seems to be a great buy no matter the official BV on it.

Danny F. White, where the F stands for "can't FIND his card anywhere!", His 1979 and 1977 RC always seem to be my stumbling block when making sets. Always seems to be a Cowboy but never one of the big stars that seem to hold me up on sets.
Maybe Danny is hoarding them all so people will have to look for him and need him... maybe he has a deep seeded desire to be wanted.

Picked up 2 cards, and since I'm a gentleman, I posted this one today, and the other tomorrow 😁 I believe it was almost worth it....might try and go later in the day next time, believe I was there around 11am, and it was bananas....really should have taken down booth numbers of things I saw and wanted to circle back to....I guess I could go back Sunday 😅
I went when it was in Chicago, 23 years ago. We went on the first day and it wasn't terrible. But, I saw reels on Facebook that show lines almost around the block. After working security at the state fair the past 3 Days, the amout of people I saw just today was ridiculous.

Been having a bad habit of posting more than one card at a time......Sue me!
1963 Topps 432b and 431a........Love these vintage variations........Standby for some '69's.......

As the thread starter, I say post as many as you want to at a time. LOL When I originally made this post, site engagement was down. The one picture per post per day was just a way to spread it out over a period of time. I was hoping to avoid somebody dumping all their pics at one time and to come back each day to post and comment on others pics. The post got off to a little bit of a slow start but has blossomed quite nicely. I never thought this post would approach 7k posts but here we are. I truely love seeing everybodies contributions to this post. Keep em coming!!

I wonder why this topic never is listed on the weekly email I gt showing The Bench's most active topics? It is probably the most active topic on this site most weeks.

If the boss says it's ok...
I felt like I was getting too many football cards, so I went and found a few baseball cards. I wanted guys I had seen play alot and would recognize, unlike most of the players in the MLB today...
One of the best lines from a movie... "JUUUUUUST a bit outside!"

1970 Topps Glossy one of the very cool football insert sets of the late 60s/early 70s! I think there was only one Cowboy in the set...........Bob Hayes. I remember in one of our first trades I got a Jackie Smith from you.

Why am I thinking there may have been a 2nd Cowboy in this set? For some reason I'm invisioning a Mel Renfro Glossy. I must research this. LOL

Ya it's Renfro and Hayes... got em both. Eventually have to replace Renfro. Edges are pretty beat up.

HA! I thought there was a Renfro in that set! i can't remember what I had for dinner last night but I always seem to remember vintage football cards. At least I remember the important things. LMAO!!!

That set was easily showed damage due to its' thick stock and high gloss covering. Great little set and not very pricey from what I rememmber.
