LMAO! Yes!

I'm glad you posted the song title because I was going to have to look up the spelling for sure.
I grew up with that song and CD. At swim meets there's alot of down time... sometimes hours between races. That CD was a go-to for us because of The Talking Goat. If you haven't heard it just search The Talking Goat Adam Sandler. Name of album is What the Hell Happened to Me?
"Ah, you button hooked me, I didn't know you were gunna button hook me." :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Fair warning - ALOT of cussing...

The real question though is, do you know the song that mentions Bert Campaneris and LeAnn Rimes? (90's country Singer)
Bert Campaneris? Did it have something about him throwing his bat at Lerrin LaGrow of the Tigers in the AL Playoffs? Was it something by David Allen Coe?

Here's one for today!

Another history lesson from Doc!! Had to look up why they were called Redlegs. Very interesting!
I think I'm on to you, now, sir!! You just want to teach at every opportunity! I'm in... if it involves cards! What a great idea! Adult card nerd history class. I can see 3 credit hours for it!!

@TC84

I always thought it would be cool to teach a History of Baseball college course! It seems now that these are actual college courses at schools like UPenn and George Mason - https://historyarthistory.gmu.edu/courses/hist339/course_sections/24778.

Sweet!

I'd be in like Flynn!! That would be an extremely interesting subject... the interwoven aspects of baseball and American history... ***** League... integration... Great Depression... all the wars fought since baseball's inception. I can see a contrast of content at the 2 colleges you mentioned, though. Either way, yes, very cool! If the students aren't using this book as reference they're probably missing alot.
