I've seen several box break posts and have seen the cards. The base cards, autos and GU/autos look great!

I'm just wondering how the product came about, and why they have actual Gypsy auto/memorabilia in the product. I like this idea much less than the bugs/sharks/etc. in Allen & Ginter, which I didn't care for at all. Some people liked it, I was one who didn't. I doubt I'll buy any packs/boxes for the sole purpose that it is a let down (for me) to get these type of cards in a baseball product.

So, what's the story behind this product? Any info is appreciated!

Thanks,
John

I was also curios about Topps Gypsy Queen. I found this:

Gypsy Queen Baseball is a first year baseball card offering modeled after the 1887 N174 set with the same name. From early pictures and details, Gypsy Queen is built in the mold of Topps' franchise flashback product Allen & Ginter, rather than other old tyme offerings like Heritage and T206.

I found some info on this site:

Thanks for the info! I was just wondering why in the world they would add actual gypsy stuff in it. I don't know of anyone that's excited about the inserts.
