The Bench Christmas Day Auction

This sort of fell off my radar while scrambling around yesterday to get everything cleaned up.

We have 6 time slots for auction tomorrow (Christmas Day). Three have been filled, and I know it is @KCLJ520 @zlw1 @dragonslayer913 that have them and they are the 2pm/4pm/6pm slots (I think). We could use three more folks to fill in the last 3 slots.

12pm-2pm
2pm-4pm - filled
4pm-6pm - filled
6pm-8pm

Sounds good. I just won't be around until about 730. I couldn't do the 6-8 slot, or anything before that.

Yes, so West Coast the 9am-11am one should've started, but I don't think anyone took it (12-2pm east)

Correct - the goal was to get 6 members to sign up for 2 hour auction slots. I than create a specific auction room in chat for each one. They would than list cards/pictures/prices - basically ebay, but here on the bench and the bidders are not hidden.

There is still time if anyone wants to jump on the last 2 slots. The original thread got snapped in the hack, so I am not 100% sure of when everyone is going, but I do know the 10pm-12:00am slot is still open, and I think the 12:00pm-2>00pm slot was open as well.

Please note: Shipping rates:
Shipping will be $1.00 for any card that can be shipped via pwe, and up to four singles for $1.50 non machine pwe. Thicker cards, etc will be exceptions and will be required to use padded mailers. Shipping rates for those will start at $4, and each additional card may not cost additional as long as it’s under 4oz.

Sorry for being a bit absentee - busy Christmas weekend.

The auction didn't get quite the traction I had hoped for or anticipated. But that doesn't mean it is not worth continuing. May just need to find a better time to run them than holidays. Completely open to suggestions on how to make them better for both buyers and sellers.

The auction was a good idea so to speak problem was on Christmas Day my time was 6-8 (tried to switch it but couldn't as the 8-10 spot was taken)
I had friends/family over for dinner and there was no way I could do it I tried but the wife was in my ear

For the New Years Day auction (keep in mind bowl games) set up the rooms like before but don't have times just let people roam room to room isn't like were all selling the same cards and PROMOTE IT
