Breeden was a platoon player and pinch hitting specialist for Gene Mauch's Expos in 1973, when he busted out and hit 15 Home Runs and drove in 43 runs in only 258 at bats. The man was constantly driving in runs in the late innings and last at bats, and was one of the biggest reasons the Expos were in the Eastern Division Pennant Chase late in the '73 season. He was out of the majors a couple of seasons later, but in '73, he was simply amazing.
