Yes he is. Art is awesome! One of the things I really like about Art is he was one of those guys that wasn't noticed by the scouts in high school and in college. He was working an every day job like you and I, and then, at the age of 24 decided he was going to a tryout for the Pirates. If you've ever been to a tryout then you know what they are like. There are hundreds of guys all trying out at one time, and then they whittle you down to only a few. Art made the cut and signed with the Pirates. He finally made the majors 4-years later. Art had the talent, and knew it, and never gave up. That's why Art is one of my all time favorite Astros.
