Bought a redemption card of 2011 Topps Triple Threads Triple Threads of Casey McGehee. The card was never made, so Topps sent me this:

2010 Topps Chrome Rookie Autographs #212 Stephen Strasburg Washington Nationals

(honestly a bit bummed out since the McGehee would have meant more to me personally)

A 2010 Triple Threads or 2011? Not sure about 2011, but I know I have one from 2010 that wasn't a redemption. Although I wish I had the Strasburg instead...

I'm sorry but you should be happy about your good fortune, not bummed. Topps did you right.

Topps more than made up for not making the card, on that front I am not complaining. McGehee doesn't get many cards made, and the 2010 cards were awesome to collect...was just hoping for more high-end stuff.

So sell it and buy cards you'd be happier with. The Strasburg should get a decent jump on some nice McGehee stuff

The redemption was for 2011...the 2010 cards were produced. If the one you have is a 1/1, I would trade you for the strasburg. :D

I've been having an issue with Topps getting a redemption.. How did you get them to send you a replacement? They've notified me that my redemption is not coming in and ask me to call or email. Every time I email, they tell me to call. Everytime I call, it says the call-volume is too high and disconnects after 10 minutes..

Did they just send it to you? Or did you actually talk to a customer service rep at Topps?.. I'm not looking for a Strasburg, just anything at this point.
 
I just replied to the "Late Notify" e-mail they sent me. It did take two months after that before it arrived, but at least I got something in return.

If you have an e-mail with an incident number in the subject from Topps, make sure you reference it every time you send them an e-mail.

That's exactly what I did (and have tried several times since)! They keep on telling me to call in though... Not sure why. Their original Late Notify email says that I can respond by phone/email. All I've gotten is frustration! Maybe they are just being mean so they can surprise me with a sweet Tribe auto... haha.

I wish... just the sepia version. Kinda surprised that Casey wouldn't sign them. Maybe Topps messed it up.
