Unwanted Cards

I have seen a couple of threads in regards to unwanted cards and what to do with them - give to charity, throw out, etc. I wanted to post in one of those threads but couldn't find them.

If anyone has extra cards that they don't want, in decent shape - not beaters, I can use them. Our church has a program for all the kids that are there for service on Sunday called Bible Bucks. When they take projects home on Sunday, the parents sign a form that they saw what their children did, if they bring the form back in the following week, they get a handful of Bible Bucks to spend at the little store they have set up. It is open once a month and they "sell" donated items to the kids as a reward.

I talked with the director and they would be thrilled to have some cards of any type. If anyone has anything they don't want and don't mind sending it to me, it will be graciously accepted. They don't need to be sorted or in any type of order, I will take care of all the preparation to get them ready.

That's a cool idea. Plus it gets the younger kids back into card collecting. I am going to talk to my church director and see if we can do something similar to this. Thanks for the idea.

Good luck. The kids love spending their bucks. Our director was thrilled with the idea of including cards in the shop.

Thanks. I am excited to be participating in this one! My son loves playing with my cards. I usually give him a couple dupes out of every box break or if a card is dinged, it is automatically his. He already has a lunch box filled with stuff.

I have some cards i would like to give away if someone would cover the shipping..I just busted 6 boxs of wax today from 02-04 products and i have a bunch of other cards i need to move including a case of 1988 topps bigs.

I have a medium sized flat rate box filled that I can send you. There's roughly 2400 cards in there. Please PM me your address so I can send it. It'll be later in the week when I have a chance to go to the post office.

I'd be glad to help if you could send a SASE or something (not much time to go to the PO and it is a pain to get to out here). Do the cards have to be more recent? Any sport? I should be able to find some, maybe some from local teams for ya.
