I will have roughly $70 in eBay bucks in January and am at a loss as to how to spend it. I have narrowed my search down to these possibilities:

1) 1964 Topps Warren Spahn PSA/DNA signed ($59)
2) 1954 Bowman Duke Snider PSA/DNA signed ($89)
3) 1948 Leaf Ralph Kiner (rookie) PSA/DNA signed ($152)
4) a bunch of lower end base, insert, parallels for my player collections

some of the options would actually give me some left over while others would require me to pay out of pocket some. What are your thoughs?

Thanks,
Dewayne

I voted for Kiner, simply because I like him more than the other two autographs available. Having the auto on his '48 Leaf makes it a very cool card to add to a collection.

I have $32 in eBay bucks in which to use too. Not sure what I'm going to to do with it yet. I would go with #2 in your option as I always try to get one card for just higher than my eBay buck amount. But, that's just me. ;)

Thanks for the input so far. I like Spahn the most as a player but you can't go wrong with any of the options so figured I would get everyones' thoughts.

I would say Snider or Spahn because for unfortunate reasons they can't sign anymore of their rookie cards.

Tough choice. I'd almost be tempted to go for the inserts/parallels. Seems like a good way to handle lower dollar stuff. I always hate using my own money on items that cost as much to ship as they do to win the item itself.

That said, of the autos I'd probably go Kiner, Snider, Spahn in that order. Kiner seems to be the least prolific signature, it's the oldest card. I see less 48 Bowmans at shows than I do 64 Topps or even 54 Bowmans. The Snider is a gorgeous card, it's my favorite of the 3 card sets you listed, and while a pretty easy autograph, it will always have the bonus of being a Brooklyn Dodger card, Dodger cards have a bigger following than Braves or Pirates, so I think over time that one would be the highest demand of the three. The Spahn, personally I'd hold out for something different. (Note, that is my personal bias, I prefer earlier cards of players if I can get them, and the 1964 design is one of my least favorite designs of all the vintage Topps sets)

Every comment has merit and I do appreciate your feedback. There are still a few days yet until I get my certificate and still have some time to decide.

Thanks!
Dewayne

If you feel like throwing in a nice amount of extra money, then Kiner for sure!
Good luck,
Pete

Thanks for all of the input. I actually went a different route and combined a Spahn auto and some player collection items by picking up a 1958 Topps Warren Spahn PSA/DNA Auto as well as some Gehrig and Mussina cards I needed. I loved the 54 Bowman Snider and would liked to have gotten the Kiner but they were a little more than I wanted to spend right now even with the eBay bucks.
