Funny how they both became Twins a couple years later is i remember correctly part of the Eric Milton trade. Which at the time killed me but think Milty was pretty much done by then.

I always found that weird also. License with the league but not the players association??? I also noticed recently with the Panini line for baseball obviously without the ability to do the logos and team names but topps was able to do NFL team names before they could do logos so is it due to...

yep. I always enjoyed spending time with my one uncle as a kid because he literally had thousands of the bricks, windows, tires all that along with probably 400 original hot wheels cars from his childhood (60's early 70's ) and we'd spend hours during the summer visits build several story lego...

agree, we just bought a set for my youngest nephew this weekend and it was 22 dollars for a 200 piece set. And I get the thought of the special sets and what ever, but I feel like a bit of imagination was lost when LEGO's basically all became sets because you don't have to think about what you...

    John Castino Cards

this may be an odd choice for a player collection but, when my family moved to Minnesota and I got into baseball he was the player I gravitated to. A gamer/dirt dog or what ever you want to call him John had the ability to be an all star and a great great player. Sadly a bad back limited his...

Kirbyfan34's new and improved trade list.

Started a new trade list, as I've been unable to renew my Beckett subscription for almost a year now. Have almost 6000 cards on a spreadsheet and can arrange it by player/set/insert. Instead of posting it here I, just hit me up with what player/set/team you are looking for and I can post what i...

In Wisconsin, they stopped when my oldest was in 4th grade (graduated in 20) so about 2011/12 school year. I have heard that some districts have reinstated it, but it really should be still taught. Just saying.

I always wondered if Danny Ainge and Larry Bird were ringers in and Boston area men's baseball or softball leagues. Bird did play a little baseball at Indiana State also

It's funny a few years ago when I picked up my Mitchell and Ness 1985 Kirby Puckett BP jersey, like the one in this card, I thought they messed up because the T in the Twins logo was slightly tilted. I now see it was like that here also. Kinda funny I didn't notice it back in the day.
