Another case of - going searching for a card in the depths of your collection and find something you don't even remember having. Not in the greatest condition, but still a nice find.

That 1978 Fleer card was always one of my favorites with Dorsett being on it which happens to correspond to the year of his RC. I just traded for about a dozen of the 1978 Fleer Football last week hoping to put together my upteenth set of those but still need 2 more. Collation was not that sets strong point.
Funny on the Fleer Team Action issues that they could use the team logos but not use the player's names. And if anyone has the 1976 cards in nice shape those are worth a fair amount. Sadly, that is the one set of those I don't have.
I always found that weird also. License with the league but not the players association??? I also noticed recently with the Panini line for baseball obviously without the ability to do the logos and team names but topps was able to do NFL team names before they could do logos so is it due to different leagues or did something change between 1982 and the late 2000's with that. And it was funny too because when I got my first packs of 82 topps football i didn't realize that the logos were on there until pulling and Bengals player, as i was enthralled with their new helmets at the time
Funny how they both became Twins a couple years later is i remember correctly part of the Eric Milton trade. Which at the time killed me but think Milty was pretty much done by then.

Is he worth $10 Million a year??? Can't predict the future, but many-a-Cowboys kickers have absolutely lost their footing out of no where in the past, Dan Bailey being the most recent. Any way, I think Aubrey will be the highest paid kicker in the league...

Don't know about 10 million per year (only Danny Villanueva is worth that much) but the guy is an awesome kicker. And to think he did not even play football in college.
The Cowboys gave him an offer of 7.5 million a year (I think) but he's wanting 10. He was the 3rd lowest paid kicker last year getting around $838,000. IMO he should be rewarded for doing so well the past 3 years. Maybe drop the guaranteed money down and add a big signing bonus and load it up with incentives. I dont know how it all works, but the Cowboys still have Pickens to resign after this season and they desperately need some defensive studs. Luckily the cap is increasing like crazy so there's more negotiable money on the table.
I'm just glad they signed Javonte Williams. He will be an asset for sure.
