I have purchased 3 different blaster boxes at 3 different locations, and have now 2-3 of every base card. Has anyone else had this issue when buying multiple blasters?

John

Funny you say this...

I bought 2 boxes of jumbos and got the same inserts all dups.

Goudey,Topps 60 and Topps History

I wasnt to happy about it. Never heard of that before.

I have not yet noticed this problem with 2011, but I have had many problems with this in retail products in the past. 2009 Bowman Draft Retail comes to mind. There were several packs that were the exact same as others even, with every card the same in the exact same order. Called Topps and they claimed ignorance and offered no solution

Not just blasters. I bought 7 jumbos and 9 or 10 single hobby packs, the jumbos were from 1 dealer, but 3 different boxes, and the hobby packs were from 3 different dealers. Ended up with 179 doubles/triples and 70 cards shy of the base set

The worst I have ever seen of thse was with Bowman Platinum baseball. I opened 8-10 blasters of it over time all from different cities around the state. I would get Strasburg and Heyward in every box, and couldnt get Kendry Morales or Matt Cain for anything. I finally finished the set by trading for them. I now literally have like 8 Strasburg base from the set. I guess I shouldnt complain but I really was hoping to have better collation than that.

Use to have this problem a long time ago...when I use to buy a case of bowman chrome...noticed some boxes had almost the same cards...not bad..if there were great prospects....but there were minor players! Best regards, David

I got a few 2011 Topps packs yesterday from Target and two of them had the exact same base cards in them.

Mine was 2006 Fleer Tradition. 8 blasters of 110 cards per box and I was 50 cards short of a 200 card set. I had piles of up to 11 cards of a player, and 50 open slots
