I just purchased a blaster box from Target and see that there are alot of cards that do not list 2B on the back. They list 3B twice. Are these errors or are they all that way. Out of the box I noticed it on the following cards 1,21,28,37,46,54,63,93,102,177,197,216,230,280,289,290,293,305,310,315,330.
Thanks for your help.

Hey Doug! Long time since we've talked! Hope all is well!

Interesting to hear that doubles no longer exist! LOL! I haven't bought any 2012 packs yet, but I'll be sure to keep an eye out on 'em when I finally buy some! ;)

Didn't even notice it during my break, upon review, you are 100% correct. Some players batting stats have 2B/3B some have 3B/3B, so I would assume it is an uncorrected error.

For reference purposes
#314 Matt Laporta - 2B/3B
#315 Dustin Ackley - 3B/3B

A lot of them are like that. I know the Jeter one is.

Maybe it's part of Topps' new stat abbreviations. On the 2012 cards, walks are now "W" instead of "BB", slugging percentage is now "SP" instead of "SLG%".

Maybe doubles are now "3B". :)

Yeah all of the "regular" cards are messed up like that, while all of the cards with a "landscape" picture on the front have doubles listed. I imagine they created the normal cards first and caught the mistake before they set everything for the landscape cards. I wonder if they will correct them for later printings, like the factory set. That would create another variation for player collectors to chase.
