I was crushed by that roughing the passer call. Even with today's rule that protect the QB it still looks like a clean hit! Anyway since it's a Snow Bowl contest I have to pick #4 for Vinatieri.

Thanks for the contest!

Scott

Symphonic you just made me chuckle lol that game was the first time I ever heard my dad swear. Just pictured it like it was yesterday

Your father had every right to swear. He was not the only one doing that, I assure you.

As much as I hated the Raiders back then, I do look back on them with great admiration. What great teams they had and there were HOF players all over the roster. And many of the guys who were not Hall of Famers were just tremendous, tremendous players. The biggest travesty to me was Stabler just getting into the Hall Of Fame until recently. To me, that guy was a sure fire Hall of Famer. What a player that guy was!

I am going to try number 74
But here is a little bit of trivia not with this game but it a true fact
when Franco harris made the Imaculate reception (sorry Raider fans) The owner of the Steelers The Prez as he was called (Mr. Rooney) never saw the catch He had left his box and was on the elevator down to the dressing rooms to tell his beloved Steelers they played a great game when he got out of the elevator everyne was cheering and telling him congrats and his famous words were FOR WHat he didnt know the won the game

And here is a trivia question for you:)... My favorite. Which college football team had 5 quarterbacks start in the NFL during the same week?

GREAT question, I dont know and can't find the answer (I wouldnt have spoiled it if I had by putting the answer!!). USC is my guess?

Good guess I can think of maybe 3 of them starting at the same time. Hint #1... It happened in the 90's and only lasted 2 or so weeks before 1 of the QB's no longer started (can't remember but I think it was because of injury).

The guess today is #99.

Based on the initial hint - maybe the University of Miami. Torretta, Walsh, Kelly, Testaverde.....The fifth one is escaping me.

another great guess, as Miami is another QB factory. Again, incorrect. Hint #2.. One of the QB's is in the Hall of fame.

The team that did it was not in the list I looked at in google--- http://www.sportsonearth.com/article/210856632/nfl-quartrbacks-petty-rg3-baylor
What is sad, is that the team had 4 starting QB's in the NFL from 1994-1998 with weekly additions of a mix of other QB's. 3 starting QB's from the team around either end of those years. How soon they forget who the real QB school was, my avatar might give it away:)
Here are the QB's that contributed to the run:
Warren Moon
Chris Chandler
Mark Brunell
Billy Joe Hobert
and the fliers that contributed during that time and each had starts
Steve Pelleur
Tim Cowan
Damon Huard
Cary Conklin
Hugh Millen

I am going to guess BYU.

I did not realize the question was already answered with Washington. If I had to have guessed again I would have guessed Miami with a combination of Kelly, Testaverde, Kosar, Erickson, Torreta and Walsh. I know Michigan State had 4 QBs starting in the same week a few years ago although they were stretching it by counting Nick Foles who transferred to Arizona.

I'll guess 22 for today.
