I'm having trouble with freewebs; already have lost one of my lists on there, and now the link from my profile here is giving an error message to the site, even though i can still access it from typing in the URL.

I'm looking to use another free webpage service, let me know what some of you have used, how user-friendly it is, and what some of the features are.

Thanks, John

I like googledocs. might not be what you want, but i'm not visually driven like that.

I use Weebly.com, you are also able to make two sites with a free account.

Thanks, Larry

david, thanks for the fix as far as the website link...it works now...now i just have to figure out where the missing file went...lost it a few months ago, was going to update the page, but then lost the file later on as well.

not sure if this is your issue or not , but there has been a glitch with webs lately that i found a very easy work-around for....

when i begin to edit a page it works properly for the FIRST "paragraph"....after saving it and going on to any other "paragraph" , the field of text or pics to edit appears blank....hit refresh (actually works better using the f5 key instead of the refresh button on the browser) 3-4 times quickly and the material to edit will show up....once it shows up , edit as usual and save/publish when done and everything is right as rain....if you accidentally save/publish while the data is missing , you WILL lose it....
