Well, I give my respect to the Mets for make some deals to put them over the top in the NL East. And, congrats to all of the other playoff teams. Exported.

Didn't even figure we'd get a shot... man oh man! From the looks of the box score, Weiters broke it open with a 2-run double in the 6th... If the last 15 days were any indication, the 2017 Marlins are primed for a nice push with a fresh crop of youngins ready to play full time!

Braves closed out the year by sweepin the Mets to set up the one game playoff. Brought up SP Griffin for the month to see what he could do and was pleasently suprised. 3-0 with a 2.04 ERA and 0.79 WHIP not to mention more K's than hits and BB combined. I am hoping that Melendez will settle down next year and then Paige come up maybe a year later I will have a solid young rotation.

Looking through my team history had a few team records broken this year. These stats pale in comparison to alot of other teams but I try to find a silver linning even in losing seasons, LOL.

Teagarden had the highest VORP of any catcher in my 10 years at 36.6
Andrus up his own record for singles with 130
Slowey became the first SP to get 2 shutouts in a single season for me

On another note, here are the final interleague records.

Atlanta 12-3 .800
Cleveland 13-5 .722
Cincy 10-5 .667
NY Yankees 12-6 .667
KC 11-7 .611
Toronto 11-7 .611
Cubs 9-6 .600
Miami 9-6 .600
Baltimore 10-8 .556
Minnesota 10-8 .556
St Louis 10-8 .556
San Diego 8-7 .533
ChiSox 9-9 .500
Oakland 9-9 .500
San Francisco 9-9 .500
Seattle 9-9 .500
Tampa Bay 9-9 .500
Washington 7-8 .467
NY Mets 8-10 .444
Philly 8-10 .444
Texas 8-10 .444
LA Dodgers 6-9 .400
Milwaukee 6-9 .400
Boston 7-11 .389
Detroit 7-11 .389
Houston 5-10 .333
LA Angels 6-12 .333
Pittsburgh 4-11 .267
Arizona 3-12 .250

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the World Series this year will be between the Orioles and Padres. I want to say Yankees because Steph runs them...but it's still the Yankees:)

Todd, we finally did it. We broke the Toronto/Tampa AL East curse :D

Thrilled to be back in the playoffs and looking forward to a good series with the A's.

Steph

Blue Jays have exported.. Minor league teams making the playoff push..

Good luck playoff teams...

PS>> The Reds have won enough!! Sorry Eric... Hahahahaha!!!
Good Luck Steph/Todd.. Lets see if one of you can bring home the
first World Series title for the AL East..

Cards 84-78 and 4th place in NL Central! Wow tough division! A lot to look forward to for next season Gonzo was a beast in his 3 sims with me, Mike May keeps getting better and closer to the show. Jordan is a stud. Hugh Nelson settled his era down to 2.50 and ended up with 45 saves one short of the 46 he recorded last season. Artie Knight hit 20 homers 87 RBIs which was a pleasant surprise. 1st round pick Benetiz had 26 saves around a 2.00 era for Springfield Cards. Both minor league teams primed for a chance at a title run!

Congrats to you Steph and all the playoff teams. Think my guys are tired and a little beat up.

Hopefully I can get past the Royals, guess we'll see.

All you have to do is get past my rotation, the rest is gravy this year.

Luckily, I have 4 of the top 20 pitchers in the league in said rotation. My offense has been horrid.

Your offense scares the crap out of me...it goes to show what a few timely trades and good drafting will do. A lot of people could and should pay attention to how the first time playoff teams made it in. I can guarantee you it isn't trading their whole roster 3 times a year.

LAA is all set...

On this day and not really a tough choice and a meeting with the front office (actually myself lol)..i have decided to step
down as the Angels owner..i am simply not into it as much as i once was-I will however stay with the team until a new
owner is found-Once a new owner for the Angels is found i will step down ..hopefully this process will not take
to long-I am not going to rule out returning as an team owner down the road..its been fun and its 10x better than
fantasy baseball.

Best,
David

Congratulations to all the playoff teams. The Phillies can now start working on the 6th year of their 5 year plan in the off season.

I hear you on that! Putting together a team that doesn't go on the DL for half of the year is the trickiest part of this game. Winning is an afterthought ;)

Hang in there David. New owners dont seem to be jumping in real fast right now. I know one member is waiting for some classes to get done to join so maybe he would be a possibility. Hate to see an original owner leave though.
How can we attract new owners ?
