As I've mentioned elsewhere, nobody seemed to be offering anything 'of merit' for Golden Codes, so I decided to play this year. I'm one of the handful, I guess.
So what ends up happening, there as here, is you end up backlogged here or there, and have trouble on the site moving your dupes. To that end, I've come here to see if I can help anyone else by helping myself.
For those not playing at home, each code gets you a Vitrual Coin, or a Virtual Card. The cards are cool, as they can be mailed to you (and, presumably, dumped on EBay). The Coins can be in any of three flavors. Team, Star, or HOF. It's a problem when you have 3 Rod Carew coins, as that doesn't help you reach your goal of 30 different player coins. Long story short. I have 3 Rod Carew coins, and 2 Cleveland Indians coins. If anyone has any similar duplication problems, post them here.
And, no, I'm not doing this to get your Babe Ruth coins. I have more in the mail tomorrow, and hopefully I can reach the goal without too many dupes.
Post what you have spare of. If anyone needs that coin, then you can set up to trade on the Topps site. Or, if nobody is playing the game here, the codes y'all are trying to trade/sell are virtually worthless to you. But, yeah, I'll trade minor premiums for them. Minis, WalMart variations, and the like.
