guys when you collect a player, you use the collect printing plates too of that player?
sorry for my english but i'm italian

I'm not a hard-core player-collector but typically if it has the player's name on it, then it's considered a needed-card for the collection. :)

Yep I go after them. I pay a little less than I do for 1/1 "cards" but I do like to pick up A's plates when I can get a nice deal.

I have a few plates, but I would rather go after the real 1/1 auto's. People tend to think the plates are more valuable when selling; not sure if I would agree! I will pick them up if they are cheap however.

I go after anything having to do with my players, and that includes plates.
This is my response, too (at least it was when I was still actively collecting). If it weren't for plates, I'd have no 1/1's of any of my guys. :p

I have some but the competition is tough for the players I collect. Once I came to the realization that I would not get every 1/1 of my players it became easier to enjoy the ones I do end up with.

Most plates I see for sale are overpriced. I don't even really consider them cards. I don't "Go After" them. I can usually get a Much more desirable card for the price of a Printing plate.
I don't have any in my Player Collections, Not saying I don't desire them.
