UPDATE EDIT:
Never did see anything that really appealed to me so the other night I went ahead bid on and won this 1965 Berra. Obviously I paid more than anyone else was willing to but figured I couldn't go wrong with high quality graded vintage of a star like Yogi.

Have to spend it or lose it. What would you buy ? I'm thinking maybe a high end Ripken auto I normally wouldn't consider, but certainly not locked into that idea as I'm open to getting all sorts of stuff that's "cool" that I usually wouldn't spend money on.

I have seen several Ripken autographed rookies listed lately. Not sure if you have one or not but it is always neat to have a players RC signed (in my opinion). I am sure whatever you purchase will be quality either way.

how bout a box or two to bust open?

paul

After my last bust of a case of 2010 Obak I think I'm done with boxes for a while. In addition to the obak I've done 3 cases of 06 sterling then 2 or 3 cases of 05 heroes then 3 cases of 08 a&g, plus a case of 06-07? ud basketball and didn't pull anything more than the absolute minimum you'd expect from a case bust (and had to fight the manufacturers for even that) so I'm pretty soured on unopened product.

I never say never but unless I get a steal of a deal it'll be a very long time before I do any more ripping.

If you don't have one already.....how about an Aaron auto.

With his auto like Jackie Robinson, I think you own a little more than a baseball card, also a little American history (and his autos have been going up in value).

Just throwing it out there.....Good Luck with whatever you chose.

You must buy a lot! My ebay bucks is only $39.00. Happy New Year, David

Yeah, I thought I had a lot at $70!

I bought more than I usually do, mostly to resell, PLUS I bought some cards for a friend PLUS there was a bonus of an extra 5% in bucks for a while PLUS double bucks for a time PLUS I took advantage of all the trial offers that were free and earned bucks. Got $15 just for trying netflix for a month ! :)

Good thought. That's the kind of thing I'm considering.

If you really can't find anything, buy a Visa gift card or something. That way you can get the $112 cash, or an amount close to it.

My goal this quarter is to have a low ebay bucks total, meaning I would have cut down on my spending. The certificates keep going up for me, which is good AND bad! I went crazy this past quarter.

$112...wow...you were a spending machine in the last quarter!

Love ebay bucks...it's nice to get something FREE once in a while.

You can usually get Regal or AMC gift cards for less than value if you wanted to go that route and are a moviegoer. Some of the gift cards are scams, so make sure you look at the ship/delivery date.

I always think about buying something I normally wouldn't, but with my regular buying, the certificates get used up paying for normal items before I even think about it.

I have always liked that 65 Berra for some reason. Hi last card, the catching gear and all. The 66 Banks falls into that category too. Odd profile shot, but something about it appeals to me.

I recently landed a 54 T and a 55 T Berra, a couple of cards I always wanted, but never bothered to get. Can't go too crazy on Yanks when you are a Dodger fan!
