This is from my Dad's collection he gave me. Back in the day he actually GLUED the cards in a scrap book according to team. He wasn't a big collector but when he gave me the book it had about 120 cards from 1960-62 pasted in it. Well, one faithful evening while consuming some of my favorite beer I decided the cards would be better off out of the book. So I got the scissors and cut them all out. I was able to gently take the scrap book paper off of a few and scrape them of some of the glue. One day I'll try to clean the rest up, even though they're basically worthless now. Shoulda just left them alone but we all know we get our best ideas while drinking!

For a card that was glued into something, you did a really nice job of removing it from the scrap book. I would not call it worthless from what I can see.

I might go on an Irvin run here... my favorite Cowboy. I know you either love him or hate him, either way you gotta respect the guy when he got on that field!

The Cowboys have had an incredible run of top flight Hall of Fame level wide receivers who wore #88 starting with Drew Pearson and then Irvin, Bryant and now Lamb. I'm guessing Irvin wearing #88 was just coincidental but I'd also guess that Bryant and Lamb wearing #88 ha been done purposely to keep the great #88 streak going.

Michael Irvin talks openly about the 88 club, referring to other receivers who have worn his number.

Another Bryant wore 88 for the Cowboys too... Antonio Bryant. I wouldn't be surprised if Irvin wore 88 just cuz that was his draft year. I wonder if he would wear 45 (college number) if he played now.
88 and Irvin just fit, though, ya know
