WOW! Yamamoto has had quite a career from being the head of the Japanese Imperial Navy in WWII to pitching for the Dodgers. And he really looks fantastic for his age!

In the late 1970s and early 80s some scumbag used to put a classified in the back of the weekly Sports Collector's Digest wanting to buy 1973 Topps John Hilton rookies. Nice! Between forged cards, tampered with wax packs and guys like this, no wonder card collectors and dealers had bad reputations. There were a ton of bad actors in the hobby back then for sure.
Hilton was born in Uvalde, TX, which was made infamous a few years ago......My hometown, Springfield, OH, is known for its citizenry eating cats and dogs and wild geese........God Bless the USA.......
