"Z...Z..." "Rirruto??" "Those are Z's..." " Theyyy look like R's to me..." "That's not fair, Rizzuto is not a word he's a baseball player! You're cheating!!" "Would you like to try the word Buzz..." (children laughing) "I HATE CURSIVE AND I HATE ALL OF YOU! I'M NEVER COMING BACK TO SCHOOL, NEVER!!"

Well that's the strangest thing I've heard all day...
When it comes to cards, I'm usually in the category of "buying high selling low"....just being silly of course....but it sure feels that way sometimes......I just kind of like to watch values go up and down similar to a stock, and in the past when I did sell, it always seemed to be at the lowest....

Happy Friday everyone!! ....oh.... dag.... one more day. It feels like Friday for real!!
It's crazy to me that the Cowboys had 2 potential H.O.F.ers on the same O-Line for 11 seasons yet neither of them had a whiff of The Super Bowl.

What an odd combo of positions played... shortstop and first base. Or is that just me not knowing baseball again?
Late in his career when he slowed down he made the move to first base. A lor of big time hitters would make that move late in their careers to keep their bats in the lineup while not making them a defensive liability due to age and injuries.

Makes sense.

Tried moving Johnny Bench to third and that didn't pan out........Then to first and that was a little better.........15+ years behind the plate killed his knees and ankles...........

Nothing special in the grand scheme of things, but last card that was needed to knock out the 2019 Allen Ginter In Bloom mini insert set. My focus is increasing on knocking out sets that have been hanging out on the desk for WAY to long. This set was the first (and most important one) in the group - another picture to come at a future time TBD with the full culmination of this set.
