Best looking set ever. And the backs are as great looking as the fronts! Topps really outdid themselves with this set and with late/mid 60s technology to boot!
I think that is considered the first regular player card that is an action shot. I think the "first" designation is because it is the lowest #d card (#5, I believe) that is an action shot in the 1971 set. I think it also has a hgher BV than his RC which is also a oewer #'d card.Think that's Dick Green eating some Bronx dirt........

This was actually an in person trade. PRosefan1 and i live pretty close to each other. We met at a gas station and made the trade there!!

I think that has to do with the condition sensitivity of the 1971s and the fact the 1971 is considerd the first...........at least numeically speaking...........action shot for a regular card for a player.
