never see 71's that nice.
If memory serves, Metsman doesn't get his cards graded which is pretty much like me. I don't get cards graded because I'm afraid to let strangers handle them out of my sight. But high grade 1971s are in HUGE demand if you get a 9 or above. There are well papered collectors that pay huge money in their quest for a 1971 set graded PSA 9 or above. And this holds true for PSA only because they have a population number for all the cards they grade so collectors know how scarce certain cards are.

To illustrate this insanity my brother broke up a 1971 Topps set and found a Manny Sanguillen that he sent into PSA. He got a 9 and sold it for nearly $500. That was more than he sold his SGC 7.5 Garvey RC for Imagine what Metsman's Rich Allen would go for if it got a PSA 9? Many thousands for sure!

PSA lists a 9 on their site at $1150. BTST, Claude Raymond is at $1800 in a 9. Might be his zipper's down.

I actually thought the Allen would be higher but that figure is 10X high book.

LMAO!! I forgot all about Claude Raymond and the zipper open. You'll get a kick out of this and the video backstory on it.
