Talk about a great HOF caliber player that is totally forgotten, it is this guy!
Unlike football, baseball does not usually reward peak players with entry to the HoF. Kiner and Koufax are the exception, not the rule. Hence, no Murphy, Garvey, Santana, or Belle. Perhaps Richie Allen's recent enshrinement will cause some reconsideration for players whose 7-10 yr peaks put them at the very summit of the game. If Utley makes it, then others by all rights should follow - Pedroia, Wright, etc.
Plus the writers hated Belle because he was so unpleasant.

I do like the fact that Heritage will usually(?) print on the back somewhere that's its a variation, but these Bowman? I believe the code # is different?
