Wow that was a quick jump! Much more popular than the auction a few years ago that offered the phone number 212-867-5309 for sale (made famous in that Tommy Tutone song).

In the closing moments of the sports portion of the local news (KRON Ch4), the sportcaster mentioned this card stating "the card started off at .99 and ended at $16,000." To which the female anchor said, "I should have bought it when it was at .99!" What a dumb blond (or whatever her hair color was!).
