So, I recently bought a factory sealed 2008 SP Authentic baseball box, and was shorted one auto, and one of the two I got was a redemption. I emailed UD "customer support" asked about submitting the redemption even though it says it expired in 2010, and also asked about the missing auto. I was quickly sent a canned "no" response about expired redemptions...I sent a reply saying how I was disappointed in their blow off response, and the fact they never addressed my other question about the missing auto. I again received a canned response:
"We are sorry to hear you pulled an expired redemption card, unfortunately we cannot redeem expired MLB cards as we no longer have a license with Major League Baseball.
As for the other autograph, we offer a one year warranty on our card products, unfortunately, this product is out of its one-year warranty period.
We apologize for any inconvenience."
I figured they'd TRY to make it right? I guess I was completely wrong. They offered nothing other than a "sorry, try again".
Very disappointed in UD customer service, and I let them know that I will not be buying any more of their products.
Just wanted to pass along my experiences. It's too bad, UD used to be great.
