I found this one kinda funny, When I joined the site I wasn't 100% sure what my collecting goals were gonna be, at the time I was just trading for anything Cubs, I am pretty sure this is what started me towards the direction of collecting Maddux however, because I always liked him, I traded with Clinton and received a 01 SPA Maddux JSY for an 05 Ssweet spot classics Molitor Jsy

Mine was also before the trade manager, back in Feb of 2003. It was with Knight302, aka Frank from Georgia. I do not remember the exact details, just know I traded a bunch of Braves for a Pujols 2001 Topps Stars RC. Wish Frank was still around, he was a great guy and easy to trade with.

I was an early member, #70 and 15th longest standing current member, so it long predates Trade Manager. If I could remember it would probably be a big vintage one with Bob Torba aka YankeeBob63 who joined the site about a month after me. We each sent about $200 to 300 BV in EX or better early 1970's stuff.

My first trade on the Bench was not a good beginning. It was a Trade Gone Bad. Luckily I used DC and my "partner" marked he received my side and more or less admitted to never sending his side. I almost gave up at that, but the mods were so helpful I tried again and have made many successful transactions. I keep the DC slip of that trade on a bulletin board near my computer as a reminder not to count my cards until I have them in-hand.
