Whens the best time to send to current nfl players?

Hey guys i did my first ttm last season with Eric Decker and then i tried again with peyton manning but i got 0/1 auto pen with the infamous small picture back.

My main question is for all the current guy who use c/o Team Address, when is a good time to start sending to them? I assume if i send now they wont get them for months still. Or do they still get there mail if you send to the team?

Considering there is a lock out I don't think it would be good to send anything until it is over unless you send it to their homes.

yea i figured that i didnt know if they had some kinda forward on for players during the off season
