Quality control for centering hasn't changed much in 130+ years 
Sent this one off to SGC, curious as to the grade....guessing a 3!
VERY NICE!!! I just loved those Plays of the Year cards that Philadelphia used to put out. Scary that I can ID a lot of those players by their uniform numbers all these years later. # 84 Pettis Norman just died a month or two ago. Yes, I am obsessed with old football. LOL
After looking at the back of this card, I was shocked to see who #67 the left guard was! I had no idea he played for the Cowboys but he in fact played for them in 1964 and 1965, Once you know who this guy is, you'll be in rarified territory for Cowboy fans knowledge!
I'm 99% sure I did not trade that card to you. Could be wrong but I don't think that one was from me.

Ah yes... Cooper Kupp's grandfather. Very cool... no this was a card I bought. I was surprised at the sharpness and the clarity when it arrived. Think I ended up paying 6 bucks for it. I guess the too good to be true items sometimes are true.
$6 for that card was a steal! I knew Jake Kupp played for the Saints as he had several Topps cards in the 70s but never knew he was a Cowboy until now. I learn something new every day showing you indeed can teach old dogs new tricks.........or in this case new facts! LOL
It's funny that we keep coming back to Gene and his fantastic last name but going back to the discussion awhile ago about how the complete game has pretty much gone by the wayside, i found this fact very interesting. According to Retrosheet.org, while going through the lists of Brewers career pitching leaders, Gene Brabender is STILL in the top 25 for Complete games with Milwaukee with a total of 9.... Now this guy last pitched a full two seasons before i was born (Nov 72) and his last year in the bigs was the first year in Milwaukee. 7 CG's with Seattle and 2 in 1970 with the Brewers. I believe the lists are complete through last year.

Gene Brabender gets more run on this board than he probably did as a player!! LMAO Although winning 13 game for the expansion Pilots should have won him the Cy Young Award over Denny McClain who won 24 games with the defending WS Champions!
I recognize almost all the names on that list which means they were playing in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Did any of those guys play in this Century?
This card just sold on ebay (RAW) for $480!! Granted it looked absolutely perfect... but still, you have a $300 - $400 card there. But, I've been wrong on my assesment of what a card may be worth before...
Holy crap, I thought you made a mistake on that but I just saw that sale. It had 24 bids on it too. In my 4 year old vintage Beckett Guide it booked at $30!This card just sold on ebay (RAW) for $480!! Granted it looked absolutely perfect... but still, you have a $300 - $400 card there. But, I've been wrong on my assesment of what a card may be worth before...
