Better it was Dick Shiner and not Dick Slaughter! lmaoIn the mid/late 80s through early 90s my brother and I used to set up at Cooperstown during induction weekend. The year Slaughter was inducted we sold some of his cards to his daughter. I had to look up the year he went in and it was 1985 and sure enough he had 4 daughters. Which one bought cards from us I have no idea but it was pretty cool.
Not as impressive of a brush with greatness as me living in Dick Shiner's hometown for a short time but pretty cool nonetheless.
