I was just trying to match his sarcasm, as we all know, sarcasm is hard to pick up over the internet. Especially if you have a dry sense of humor. I'm not defending anything he may have said prior, but I just want to be clear and say no hard feelings are felt towards the Troy Aikman autograph comment. It's alot better than some of the guys nowadays just putting their initials! DeMarcus Ware was at a charity baseball game about a decade ago and I brought a mini helmet for him to sign. I was lucky enough to get him to sign it... but he just signed his initials and number. I'm sure he did it to save time, but it was still a bummer... anyways. I'm out this mutha!
Harmon Killebrew also had a great signature. And when I procured his at TwinsFest in 2001, I was the next to last in line before they cut it off, because Harmon loved talking to the fans. And he threatened to leave signings with Kirby Puckett, Michael Cuddyer, and Torii Hunter, because he felt none of them were taking enough time to give a legible signature. All 3 players relayed that story in interviews over the years. And I also remember getting my brother a nice painted Harmon 8×10, and he took it to Twinsfest in 98 , and again was at the back of the line, but I got over there in time to see Harmon sign it, but he was telling my brother a story and kept pointing to the picture. Turns out the artist didn't get permission, either from Harmon or MLB for licensing so it wasn't an official copyright, but he ended up signing it anyway.
I used to have a leaf certified materials Carlos Delgado autograph that he just signed Doggy. LOL

The grading question got me to take a look at 130point for recent sales. Fleer Update Big Unit rc's are going for less than $2 raw. PSA 9's are going for $6-8. PSA 10's are going for $27-35. So getting a 9 is actually a loss, given that PSA charges $15-19 depending on the order, plus shipping. To make the grading worthwhile, it's got to get a 10.
That's why I'm gunshy about grading.
You know I completely had my early-mid 70s Senators/Rangers infielders mixed up. I thought Dave Nelson was the player who attacked his manager , Frank Lucchesi, and put him in the hospital for a week where he needed reconstructive facial surgery. That was not Dave Nelson, but Lenny Randle. I was wondering why you liked this guy so much after I thought he attacked his manager.
Talk about a different time, Lenny Randle was immediately picked up by the Mets and played for several more years for several teams after doing what he did. He'd of been blackballed today. Times were differnt back the for sure.
I'm predicting here and now that you will be posting a pic of a Dak Prescott GU with a serial # of..............let's see.......around 20. See if I'm right! LOL
