CMCJR99: great contest, really enjoy it. Regarding Question #18: with all the clues given up to that point, I had it narrowed down to Vizquel or Jose Bautista. Neither Carlos Pena nor Zobrist had cards with NL teams between 2000-2009, so they weren't an option. At that point, I believed Vizquel or Bautista was the key question to ask. Thanks, and looking forward to the next one.

Luis

ya got me on pena whose first card picturing him with the cubs was a single insert in 2010 topps heritage which falls just a bit outside the 2000-2008 window...

as for zobrist , he does in fact have plenty cards featuring him as an astro , but when my analysis left him in as a possibility i overlooked the fact that none of them were topps products....

For what it's worth, a couple suggestions.......

#1 Start a new thread for each round.

#2 Don't count questions like Q8 as it was already answered. It's hard enough narrowing a specific card without losing questions to repeats.

Edit: WOW, that was fast !

pretty much figured that it would just be easier to track one thread....

as for your 2nd point , that's why i had THIS in the rules in the first post :

4 - when a question is posted by an eligible member , please WAIT for my reply before posting another question

most people seemed to ignore it so i pretty much chose from two options : answer EVERY eligible question as soon as i see it (even if it's a pointless question) or completely ignore all but the first question posted each time i come back to answer one....i chose the former for good or bad...

when this player started in the super bowl, were the primary colors of his teams uniform red, white and blue?

new rule - after round 1's controversy over what constitutes a "team color" and what is an "actual color" vs a "shade of color" , i won't answer team color questions anymore.....just too many gray areas here IMO....
