I just did. It is so HARD to find ways to contact eBay. They really don't care about any issues. I love how in the guys 1st message sent to me the other day he doesn't know anything about all this eBay stuff and now he is quoting me policies. He's upset because I did exactly what he asked me to do. He told me the guys bank account was FROZEN and it wouldn't clear anyway!

Thanks
Craig

I have been following this thread- and it is obvious that this guy is a scammer or else he would not be acting this way.
I'm sorry that this has happened to you & before you know this will all be over.
Best wishes,
Mike

Thanks Mike. It looks like I'm going to get 44 negative feedbacks though. Here is his latest message...

"LAST CHANCE TO CANCEL"

You know, you do have a chance to reply to each negative feedback. I did that on a recent negative that I got to state my side of the story.

Criag,

He just ruined any chance of leaving you a negative feedback. Report him for feedback extortion (It's real, although it may be called something slightly different) and he is done.

I emailed a seller telling him I would be leaving negative feedback if he didn't send a card he owed me from WEEKS before and ebay ruled with him when he filed against me for feedback extortion!!!

Ebay is pretty much worthless when it comes to issues, obviously for buyers AND sellers, when someone is pulling some crap. However, it is the best option still for selling.

WOW! Check out the latest response!!

1st...

You opened up unpaid items against my dad
yesterday knowing his check had cleared his bank?
Okay, you want to be like this and make my dad
feel worse? CANCEL the previous paypal payment
NOW! I do not want you sending him anything, you
are a greedy douc**bag. I'm contacting paypal now
to have them prevent any payment going to you if
you don't cancel, also I'm contacting ebay again
to let them know you're being a jerk. They were
the ones who told me to tell you to cancel, but
you'd rather be a major jerk instead. Heartless
bas**rd, when my dad sees what you did he'll
probably have another stroke. One hour from now
I'm contacting ebay and reporting you, plus if you
don't cancel everything and the paypal, I'm
leaving you NEGATIVE comments for being a *****.

You tried to screw my dad over, you've screwed
yourself, jerk. Remember 1pm EST it all goes
downhill for you, d***head.

2nd...

By the way greedy jerk, you still get credit for
your final value fee when you cancel, read the info
before you try to give someone a bad name, dum**ss.

WOW! Can I report this to eBay? Will they care?

Thanks
Craig

I took out a few letter and added the**

Thanks everyone. I appreciate your support. This is a very frustrating situation. I hope it's my only one. At least of this magnitude.

Thanks
Craig

*Curt, I did report him. I just hope eBay does the right thing.

WOW. So sorry to hear of all this mess you have to go through. i hope and will pray for you that you make it through and the real truth will come through.
What gets me is 2 things
#1 the next day after his dad has a stroke he is on e-bay messing around? WHAT? wow...
#2 he states this "when my dad sees what you did he'll
probably have another stroke." WHAT? joking or talking about your father having another stroke right after he had one? WOW

Hope all works out for you .. We have your back!

It's obviously a false story that he's using to get out from purchasing a large lot of cards. I've heard a good number of 'em over the years. ;)

Jason

I would forward his messages to ebay. I had a guy talk to me like that once. I sent it to ebay and a couple days later he was "no longer a registered user." This was a few years ago though and things may have changed, but ebay is all about being a "community" so they don't like people acting like this. I think you'll win out on this one.

Been there Craig. I feel for you ! It's a royal pain at the moment I'm sure but typically, as long as you don't stoop to his level and act like a jerk, it works out and is over before you know it.

He is from the UK, He meant that there are some decent people outside the US who pay for their things. It was not a slam.

Sure sounded like they were saying they were decent because they would ship to foreign countries. It appears I was wrong soooooo...... a public admonition deserves a public apology. I'm sorry for jumping on your case Ian !

I haven't even bothered to respond after my intitial comment.

Hang in there Craig! Theres a special hell for people who lie and think that can get away with stuff....just because its the internet! Best regards, David

Craig,

My e-check from him was supposed to clear tomorrow. I never got any e-mail from him asking me to cancel it. Now, he suddenyly cancellled the e-check and sent me an Instant Payment for the card. I didn't realize he was in Canada. Now I am afraid to send the card. I have a pretty strong feeling he will claim he never got the card, file a claim with Paypal, and get a refund. I can't track the card going to Canada, so he will win automatically.

You are much better off having just cancelled everything.

Sue

Sue - The only way you can track a package to Canada is if you send it Express. It is expensive though. I'll just be glad when this mess is over...

Thanks

This guy is killing me. Check out his latest response...

process.html

"If you've sold an item but can't go through with
the sale, you can cancel the transaction in our
Resolution Centre and you may receive a credit on
your Final Value Fee."

"Possible reasons for canceling the transaction
are that the item is lost or broken, you made a
mistake when listing the item, or there's some
other reason you can't complete the sale."

This should help

It should be easy to report to ebay... I couldn't figure it out, but... :D

I do know that eBay would be very interested in reading his email. Wonder if his dad will have yet another stroke when he finds out his son got him kicked off of ebay?

EDIT: I didn't realize there was a Page 2.

I was able to close out all 44 of my cases today. Man, it feels good for this to be almost over. Now I just have to send out second chance offers and/or relist the items. I just hope the guy doesn't create a new user name and bid on my items again.

I appreciate all the info provided by everyone. You folks are the best. I really appreciate the support!

Thanks again!
Craig

*I wonder if I'll get one more final nasty goodbye from him?
