After posting the card of Dave Wilcox, I thought you'd appreciate this jaw dropping hit he put on Joe Kapp. Forward this video to the 2:50 mark to see it. When I first asw this I said "HOLY..........something or other!". I've seen the aftermath of this hit somewhere and Kapp got up after 15 or 20 seconds and surprisingly there were no extra curriculars in a time when extra curriculars were commonplace. Old school football was insanely tough.

That was probably the nastiest thing that happened at Kezar Stadium since Dirty Harry took out his frustrations on Scorpio!

The thing is, after Gerritt Cole, there is not one single starting pitcher that looks anything like a Hall of Famer. None. So there will be a wave of rising support for Lester toward the end of his time on the ballot.
