And I'd bet money that it wasn't a scribble that looked like Eygptian Hieroglyphics
Sent a photo of him and Bob Lilly and asked him to sign. Lilly's sig was already on it... he sent it back within 2 weeks with an immaculate signature and "HOF" inscription like Lilly. I had put a post-it note on it requesting where I'd like him to sign it... he signed in the exact spot I asked. Got off topic there... he does have a great signature, and he was one of the classy ones. A guy alot of players should look up to these days.

You are correct sir. The autograph I have of him looks very much like the one posted here. Kind of odd how two of the legit toughest guys like Brown and Bob Gibson have the nicest handwriting.

Is this the picture of Lilly and Brown playing the game just days after the assasination of JFK? I think you posted that some years ago.

I thought that was the picture you were talking about. Very, very cool Jim Brown did that for you. And younger athletes should look up to him. I still like Chris Webber (even though he went to Michigan) for respectfully calling him "Mr. Brown" during an ESPN panel discussion on race in sports with younger guys like Webber with original Civil Rights activists like Brown..........you know the guys who took an actual stand at great physical and financial risk to themselves unlike today's phonies.

Not to make a political point with this but a commentary on the mainstream media. In his first term Trump hosted a bunch of Civil Rights advocattes at the White House. All of the media's attention went to Kanye West who was acting a complete fool. Never a mention of Jim Brown who was sitting right next to him. Why mention Jim Brown who took a lot of risks trying to stop the violence of the gangs in L.A., when they could breath;lessly go on about Kanye and his ridiculous antics? Brown should have introduced him to Mr. Backhand to stop the foolishness.

A fan favorite when he played in Dallas... usually played slot and caught those quick slants in the middle... would always get up and toss the ball to the ref and trot back to the huddle with the mentalitly, "OK, what's up next??"

He was a big part of the turnaround in Buffalo giving a young Josh Allen a reliable target. He is also remembered for refusing to take the Covid shot at a time that was not a popular stand. That took SERIOUS guts as the NFL was threatening to suspend players who would not take the shot but he held his ground. I give him a ton of respect for that.

That issue makes me LMAO when my new favorite player, Aaron Rodgers, called Travis Kelcie "Mr. Phizer" for those irritating commercials promoting the Covid shot. You probably remember those ridiculous "Two things at once" ads by Kelcie. Rodgers became my new favorite player for his stand on another issue which shall not be discussed here. I never liked him until a couple of years ago but have done a 180 on him.

There was another WR about Beasley's size and build the the Cowboys got the same year.. his name is Danny Coale. I used to get them so mixed up i wondered if I was crazy. Danny Coale had some mental health issues I think and couldn't play, leaving just the one Cole... he was fun to watch.
Honestly I have no clue what you're talking about with Aaron Rodgers. On either end... I watched alot of TV during Covid and don't remember any of those commercials... ironically it's probably because of my meds. lol
You'll need to PM me about the other thing... maybe it will help me like the guy. To me, he's worse than Tom Brady when it comes to arrogance.

Hold on here. So you know the band Candlebox but don't remember the ubiquitous Pfizer ads starring Tay-Tay's fiance before he was Tay-Tay's fiance? Don't they have televisions in Arkansas or just not in the mean streets of McGehee..........no relation to Willis Mcgahee?

to refresh your faded memory here it is.

Ah yes... I remember now. At times I think all we have here in Arkansas is farm equipment and mosquitoes the size of vultures.

Didn't the Kelce commercials come out a year or two after the shot was developed? Maybe I am mis remembering as the past 5 years have all kinda run together. @SymphonicMetal, I appreciate your stance on Rodgers, but his gift of drawing attention to himself grew REALLY old in Wisconsin, especially for non Packers fans. He complained about how Favre treated him when he was drafted but turned around and did the same damn thing to Jordan Love. Hypocrite much? Is he one of the best ever? Yes, but not a top 10, and I'm so happy he's on the Steelers and not my Vikings. Rant over

Kelce's ads were for the Covid booster in the 2nd or 3rd year, These ads were to encourage people to get the boosters since many people stopped getting them after the first year. This was the begining of my Kelce fatigue which got worse as time progresed. That goes for both brothers too.

If he did an ad for a shot for Kelce fatigue, I'd get it.! LMAO!!!!

The reason I am pro Rodgers goes way beyond football. He fell on the right side of a very serious issue so he gets my support.

Which I respect. It goes back to the paparazzi comments we had a few days back, even the smallest things he would put out these small teasers and the media would eat it all up and debate on it for days. Now whether it's Rodgers or any other celebrity/athlete/politician no one's life is that interesting to keep playing games to keep your name in the spotlight. Just my opinion. I miss the good old days of "this is my thought" take it or leave it, or people just not putting everything out for public consumption.
