My very first baseball game ever, Don Elston was the starting pitcher. It was at Wrigley against the Pirates in 1964. Tommie Sisk was the other starter. I remember it like it was yesterday. Lindy McDaniel came in as a reliever and had the highest leg kick I've ever seen.
You must have been thrilled with today's game against the Chiefs. Dallas wore their throwback unis. Must have gotten you to reminiscing about the Tubbman. And hopefully Dak doesn't turn into Gak today and knocks off the Chiefs. Someone needs to drive a stake through the heart of that team.
Daggum that's ALOT of chew in his left cheek! Looks swollen like he got a right hook from Mike Tyson! Here's one for today!

even though he spent a few years with the Chiefs it's still weird to see him in Red and White instead of sliver and blackMarcus Allen '94 TSC S.B. XXIX Embossed

Being a product of the 90s it looked strange to see him in a silver/black uniform to me... the guy played in the NFL 15 or so seasons but he went to KC just around the same time I started collecting. Same goes for Joe Montana... I only knew him in a KC jersey. And going to KC 2 or 3 times a year those years I ONLY saw them in KC uniforms. I even wore #19 in ***-wee football... ya I was the starting QB... no biggie...even though he spent a few years with the Chiefs it's still weird to see him in Red and White instead of sliver and black
I hear ya'. As a young whippersnapper myself, I only remember Babe Ruth as a Boston Brave. All this talk of him as a Yankee and Red Sock is weird.Being a product of the 90s it looked strange to see him in a silver/black uniform to me... the guy played in the NFL 15 or so seasons but he went to KC just around the same time I started collecting. Greta should post a random card from her collection. She's moved on from Climate to Middle Eastern issues. How she has such "expertise" on such a varied set of issues is truely astounding.
You'll take note that I always have backup for my takes. Greta, Joe Biden, Mel Gibson and of course Beavis and Butt-head! LMAO!!! Looks like Mel Gibson may have been wrong on Shaduer Sanders though. it is still early to determine if my take on him was correct or not
I see that there are 5 variants to this card... no jsy, 1 jsy, 2 jsy, 3 jsy, and 4 jsy... none say anything about prime patches. A quad patch card of those guys would be sweet!Leather Quad.....1 jersey.....nonsense! Kewl ser # though.....88/150....
