And before y'all go crazy on me I found it in an antique shop in Dallas around 2011. Got it graded by SGC around 2015 and sold it before the market boom. Ya I wish I still had that one...

Now that is a cool card!!! I had forgotten Hirsch was the AD at the University of Wisconsin for a long time.

How tough were the guys who played football in his time period? Hard shell helmets and no facemasks is quite a combination for good looks and having an entire set of teeth.

Well judging from that SGC 5.5 grade on that 1955 Jackie Robinson team photo that was most likely a nice card!!

It was a crazy find for sure!! One of those nice antique boutiques with estate sale crystal and China type places. Huge! Right off the tollway. I remember paying 50 for it and my GF thinking I was nuts... funny how you remember the ones you wish to forget and forget the ones you should remember.

Found out it's alot more fun for me putting together Team Sets than whole sets. And the Cowboys sets that are out there are great too. Most have all the HOFers from the team and aren't more than 20 or so cards... usually. So along with Cowboys player cards and Gold Parallels I've decided to TRY and focus more on building team sets. Here's one card from a Cowboys set I've decided to build. The "base set" has 200 cards, which I have, but there are only about 12 JSY cards.... that's much more my speed!
