I only know of one Manson, and he's in hell..... to whom are you speaking of?That was the side his goiter is on, oy vey.......BTW, Manson's going to be at Graceland in May.........
Thats who I thought... but his real name is Brian Warner... I've heard Graceland has become a trashy place so they must really need the money!!Marilyn........
Really? I know it's not in the best area of Memphis but when we were there in 21 the m mansion grounds themselves, the buildings across the street and the hotel just to the side of the mansion were all pretty nice. I think there is a soundstage where they will hold concerts and stuff and non Elvis related exhibits. (There was a cool Disney one when we were there.)Thats who I thought... but his real name is Brian Warner... I've heard Graceland has become a trashy place so they must really need the money!!
I can see it now... a bunch of 50 year olds moshing to "Beautiful People"Brian Warner, yes, another fine citizen from Ohio........Graceland has a music venue across from the house Elvis trashed........
Ok, so its not gunna be on Elvis's property? Armed guards surrounding his grave hopefully!Really? Not the best neighborhood but not the worst........Never went inside the house but people who visit my wife and I love it..........The police (and now ICE and the Feds) try to keep Graceland and Beale Street pretty safe.........Really? Yeah we stayed just up the road at the Holiday Inn Express. My brother and I took a walk in the surrounding neighborhood the Friday night of Halloween weekend, and didn't feel unsafe at all. Same with Beale Street and Civil Rights Museum. Loved the overall vibe of the town. I just saw something about a large grant the city got for Beale street for infrastructure and upgrades does that include money for the new Rock and Soul Museum? Not the best neighborhood but not the worst........Never went inside the house but people who visit my wife and I love it..........The police (and now ICE and the Feds) try to keep Graceland and Beale Street pretty safe.........
I can't remember for sure, but I know he purchased a lot of acreage around the house over the years. I know where the soundstage is now after Elvis passed there was a bunch of tacky souvenir shops that popped up. In the late 90s or early 2000s the estate bought the land across the street and now they sell licensed tacky souvenirsOk, so its not gunna be on Elvis's property? But ya, that's what I heard a while ago... way before 2021. Glad they got it cleaned up

.I'd buy an Elvis bobblehead.... or bobblehip....I can't remember for sure, but I know he purchased a lot of acreage around the house over the years. I read somewhere about a grant but didn't delve into it........Politicians here are crooks, so it will likely end up in someone's pocket.........New Year's Eve and 4th of July are crazy with the gunshots instead of fireworks..........Is ammo cheaper for a "Choppa", aka AK-47, than Chinese powder?Yeah we stayed just up the road at the Holiday Inn Express. On a personal note one of my cousins spent several years in Memphis and I had a chance to attend Memphis State (at the time) in 98. Kinda wish I would have gone.
