Really hoping this one is legit... Tris "Spoke" "The Gray Eagle" Speaker '50-'56 Callahan HOF W576 View attachment 117370
If the back looks like this then I am sure it is real.

I'd never heard of these before until a dealer friend of mine told me about them several decades ago. We were always trading and I ended up picking up one of these from him for about $25 in trade. Some scrub who goes by the name of Ruth. Your post got me curious if I still had it and I do! YAY ME! TCDB shows it books at $160 but I don't know if that is accurate or not.

Well, between you, me, and the wall... I think they're all a bunch of scrubs! I just got this guy named Tris because I felt like wasting money!
But yes, it does look exaclty like the back of the one you showed. My concern is my patented "vintage smell test." If a vintage card doesn't smell like the periodicals section of a library then it may not be truly vintage. This one, unfortunately, did not pass my smell test. The test is PATENTED by the good folks of MaPa&Sons Exculsivity Patetent Co. out of Gould, Arkansas. That's big-time, folks! `

Not sure if I've ever seen one of these before last month...about as rare as a 1/1 in my book! Reminds me of the old joke about my heritages' national library that burned down......both books were destroyed and 1 hadn't even been colored in!!!! 🤣
Lovin' the color scheme and font of this one! - And you want to talk about weird ser. numbering.... take a look at the Beckett listings, or TCdB.... /19, /53, /23, /119, /196, /3!! What the what???
Aikman is a 1/1 where Emmitt is /17. That's a first for me! The only Cowboy I think I may have a chance of finding is Raghib "Rocket" Ismail - at /100

He was a mainstay in 1960s football cards. I was surprised to see he went to college at Arkansas Tech which I had never heard of before. Ends up that school is in his hometown of Russellville, Arkansas.

He was also born in Dallas and ended up moving to Arkansas. That's odd. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone doing that beforew. Very strange.

It takes big, massive, gargantuan cahonnes to go from big city livin' to a small, rural farming community in Arkansas. Although, Russelville is about 10x bigger than McGehee today....
